Probably because she's tired of you crapass liberals making crude comments about her children. I mean can you imagine the outrage if the same comments were made about the NObama's crummy children? You libs should be ashamed of yourself for not only making those comments, but, for supporting those that do.

puppy, give it up. Obam's children are not running around in gay bars and then finding some drunk guy and getting knocked up. And this leaving office has nothing to do with being tired of anything, she just wants to find a senate chair to chase and fall flat on her face.

let me state the obvious - this is an american issue and kasteele, you've stated several times that you are a canadian who cares little for the affairs of Americans. So, perhaps you should live up to that stance and butt out - we don't want or need your input. You should focus on the issues that are uniquely canadian - like how can you continue to enslave the french canadians - what's better moose burger or seal steak.......

and on the other topic, if you can poke fun of palin's children - then El Jeffe's are still in play. after all....it's about being fair.

1. Her political standing has slipped enough that she could have lost a re-election bid if she tried to retain her current office.

2. Her political standing has slipped enough that even if she had run and won, she would have likely been bloodied in the race, maybe even in a primary.

3. Even more ethics complaints (many frivolous) would have been filed against her.

4. She's got a book to write.

5. She's got a special needs baby to raise.

6. It is logistically impossible to run for president as the sitting governor of Alaska -- because of flight times. (Not hard: *impossible*)

7. She couldn't truly explore her money-making potential as an incumbent governor.

8. She couldn't truly explore her media potential as an incumbent governor.

9. The legislature has turned so much against her that the job wasn't much fun any more.

10. If she wants to be the Republican Party's presidential nominee in 2012, she needs to spend more time raising money, establishing her international and national expertise, and traveling the Lower 48. And she needs to start now.

11.She has been invited by XXX videos international to do a Mom and Daughter bumfucking movie with some selected ranked legislators.

The Republicans say that Sarah Palin was elected Governor because she had executive experience -
She did, although it was in very small communities.
Sarah Palin has had experience running a business, however.
She was the partial owner of a car wash in Anchorage, Alaska. Together with her husband, she held 40 percent of the car wash’s ownership.

And how did Sarah Palin do with the executive experience of running a small business?
Lousy.
She ran the business into the ground because she couldn’t be bothered to keep up with paperwork.
Sarah Palin failed to file legally required reports or to pay the state licensing fees for the business, and so the car wash was shut down.

In addition to the car wash, Sarah Palin was the owner and operator of a marketing consultancy with the odd name of Rouge Cou.
Rouge Cou is a rough translation into French of the American phrase redneck.
Actually, the French translation should have been Cou Rouge. Sarah Palin couldn’t even get that right, and the consulting business closed after it failed to get even one client.

With this record of executive failure, why should Sarah Palin have been given the position of Vice President?
Say good-bye to her, she won't be back..
in any capacity..

I would say that pretty much confirms Slutpup's statement. Well done, Kasteele.

It is unfortunate that the media finds a politician's family to be "fair game." As I recall, even President Obama said during the campaign that he thought the media attacks on Gov. Palin's children were inappropriate.
