ok, so here's the deal -l-

I JUST downloaded the new game Warhammer Online...

I have played WoW for I'd say almost a year now...

Personally I'd stick with WoW...and most likely to get the upgrade...

Now, what I want is others opinions, IF You have tried out both games, which is better?

this coming from someone who's loyal to WoW..

i've been playing WoW for well over a year now & it's all thanks to EnchantedHands as he was the one that got me into playing it.. before that, i played Runescape.. personally, i'm a big fan of WoW and since i'm close to getting lvl 70, there is no way & no how that i'm going to be getting rid of WoW.. the new expansion is out in November & i already have that on Pre-Order at EBGames.. i love the graphics of WoW, the mounts, the questing and the ability to be able to do a whole lot more past lvl 40.. Outlands is such a lovely area to work in as well

now with Warhammer, their capped lvl is 40 and i'd get super bored at that level.. i've checked out their website & the trailer and personally, it's crap cos it loads a bit slower than what WoW's does.. i hear people talk about Warhammer in-game on WoW and many have said that it's sh**..

i'll be sticking with WoW all the way since i love playing the game & know many that still play it.. $40 for a game card every 2 months is a pretty good deal and it's worth the money as well..

that's my 2 cents.. back to working on lvl 70 since i'm half way through 69.. woot!

I agree with Febby, that the graphic's in WoW is alot better...

I have to agree too.... but I've only played Warhammer for one night... lol

.. but... if you're in to PvP it does sound like War would be a better fit for you. I'm more in to PvE though and have two lvl 70 Champion of Naaru titled chars (a priest and mage) in WoW so it doesn't make much sense for me to switch to Warhammer.

I'm going to give it a go until the expansion though as my guild has stopped raiding and the server I'm on sucks.

.. and sorry Warhammer... you need to add some Goats in Space as a race.

~shakes head~
Nahhh I dont think its a good fit for me....and personally it doesnt look as good as WoW....I've had trouble with WoW...my original account got hacked and I lost my characters....but I'm not leaving WoW....not just yet.....I've tried other MMOs and WoW still stands head above the rest....

I’ve Never played wow, and prob never will.
I see everyone talking about it and a huge push on tv All the time.
To me it’s hack and slash roll playing or some lame dungon crawl in and endless combat.
Correct me if I’m wrong please by ALL means.

FTR I do play A online game EVE-Online.
It was good enuff to lure me away from endless hrs of games like medal of honor, half life and a ton of other games. It has a massive learning curve to it in comparison to other games. Add to that it’s not just combat or PVP. To me one of the colest thing is that each and every player is on the SAME server. And even a low little n00b can take out a 3yr old player given the right situation
I Can’t stress the learning curve enuff it’s big… very very big. But the 15 day free trial helps.. and you can start that as much as you want ( new char each time).. in fact I would sugest doing it a few times before you pay and then keep the new char.

Not saying WOW Is Lame Or Anything Like That… Just Pointing Out There Are Other Games Out There That Are Just As Good… And Some Say Better.

Enjoy.

Alright, I was trying to refrain from replying to this topic seeing as Terri already knows my stance. As an former player of WoW and FFXI, and new player of Warhammer In my honest opinion Warhammer is the better, One reason someone gave was graphic in WoW are better, to me the chars look way to cartoonish and also has been out a LOT longer WAR has only been out two weeks. I LOVE the concept of waging massive wars on keeps one night we had over a hundred played on each side going crazy over control of a keep. I love the warband option up to 24 players on one team, now that rocks. The PQs(public quests) are spectacularly well but together with each phase progressivly increasing in difficulty. I love the chicken effect so you no longer have top level jerks hanging outside of Crossroads ganking the lowbies because it help them feel big.

Granted there are still alot of bugs to be worked out like all games, the CTD SUCKS. But give WAR years to get better and I'm pretty sure that you will see it emerge as a MAJOR competitor for WoW.
