| Hi all,
It seems that the filter on Nicknames hasn't been working correctly which allowed some of you to create Nicknames with special characters such as ◦, ♥, ♠ etc. . I have seen some of you with those in your Nicknames and thought "ah well" but it's now causing various issues with the system due to the special characters. It's causing some browsers to have problems with our system and also various features do not work with Nicknames that have special characters (hence the original site didn't allow these.. now I remember why..  )
Sorry but we'll need to remove those Nicknames from your accounts. If you have posted with a Nickname that has a special character I'll be updating those to replace the special character with a dash "-" .. unless you have a similar Nickname in your account i.e. You used ◦Cradz◦ it will be updated to Cradz.
The code has been updated to fix this issue (only abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789{}()[]~_-@^=!#$&* are allowed in Nicknames now) and also increase the limit on the file size for images in the Graphic Vault to 65K.
A bug in the Color Schemes edit page has also been fixed that would clear out the background image. |

| I will be automatically removing Nicknames that do not have any posts on the forum.
You will not receive a pager message that this has been done (due to the volume I'm going to have to manually deal with).
