| | I truly hope that Victoria is not being judged on the basis of.....individuals such as SP trust me ...he is not indicative of Victorians.....and I kinda wish you all WERE coming here! |

no, Morphia and MysT, I'm not eliminating Victoria because of Sanct.P. Actually, if the majority wanted it there, I'd make that a viable option for myself. Likely what I'd do then, gather 3 or 4 people together with me, and drive over, splitting the cost of travel. Would be a grand way to get to know the people I'm travelling with
Matter of fact, that might not be a bad idea to consider! IF it's in Victoria, or Vancouver, shall we suggest, many of us could carpool going that way, or vice versa, if it were in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, or Winnipeg.
I guess, I'd like to get a sense of where most everyone is, and who would be willing to travel where. I know it's kinda out of the question for Babii for now, never know in the fall... Again, this doesn't HAVE to be done this year, it could be next year. I'm gauging responses. And yes, if there any of our U.S. friends near the border that would be interested in coming up, by all means, throw in your two bits here as well.
Keep the posts coming!!!

| | SO far, it's coming up as 33% want Calgary, 33% want Edmonton, and the other third want Victoria.
If anyone who's posted here knows of other Canadians, or American whom they think can make the trip, let them know, and get them to post here. I've had a few people tell me they'd prefer West Edmonton Mall as a meeting place, or a casino somewhere. Thoughts?
And, while I'm asking, WHEN would you like to see this fly?

| | I am more than welcome of the idea that the Canadians get together for a Pork Chat gathering, of sorts. My vote casts toward Edmonton or Calgary. Neither much matter to me, but it would probably have to be one of those for me to have the availability to make it. A new career change and many other changes in life have made my old /free/ schedule quite the opposite, as any of you who once knew me, know, since you /never/ see me anymore. Heh heh. Anyway, as I was saying, if we can set something up in Calgary or Edmonton I can do pretty much whatever it takes to show up, hopefully. I look forward to hearing more on this topic. |S-
Edit: I reside in Calgary, so as for the carpooling, depending on where things end up happening, /if/ they happen, I am up for it. Keep in touch.
As well, /if/ this is going to become more solid a plan than simply an idea, the sooner we can get some concrete dates, or close to them would be awesome, as I am also planning a long dissappearance to France for awhile this Fall. I will try to plan things around eachother. ----------------------------------------------------------- "Fiat justitia ruat coelumn..." - Let justice be done though the heavens should fall.
