Yes, same as before. We'll have more help info and when this is integrated with our .NET system chat menu there will be a graphic telling you how to turn on the mic/cam for another user.
We're getting very close... I now have code in place to limit features based on level of membership and it's just a matter of hooking it up to our membership system. I'm also very close to adding messenger and communicator to the html based rooms too... so if you enjoy HMTL based chat but want to chat one-on-one video style with somebody in the room you'll be able to do that.

Hey Cradz, are you going to have the voice chat a little bit like this site where you can see how many people are in the rooms? The biggest annoyance is wandering into a room unaware that it is empty -lol- |

Yes, the voice/video chat rooms will be integrated with our new chat menu. At first we won't have user counts but eventually we will.
You can view how many users are in each room after entering the system by clicking on the chat rooms icon. |

| FYI.
The Private Message issue has been fixed (before when you sent a private message you didn't see it but the person you were sending it to did).
I've removed messenger as it was redundant with the Video Communicator feature. Now when you open up the Video Communicator for another person you'll see when they open or close their communicator window (so you aren't talking to yourself). |

| A couple issues - when I first logged into the new system I was unable to chat with anyone in the room and not via the communicator - no cam or mic icons showed up at all. The room wasn't loading correctly but this issue seemed to be fixed after I refreshed and cleared my cache. I'm not sure if anyone else is having that same problem.
Also, every time someone would enter or exit the room, anyone I was listening to became automatically turned off again and I know everyone had this problem.Pork Expressions - Icon Blanks

One of the upgrades is to allow us to limit the number of cams/mics you can view/hear based on your membership level. Seems it was set at 4 as the default for everybody so I've bumped that up to 8.

Yup.. I updated the flash file so it was probably still cached in your browser. If anybody else has a problem like that the solution is to clear out your Internet Temporary files.
Thanks for the info on the automatic turn off.. I'll see if we can get that fixed. |

I tried to re-create the issue with the mic getting turned off automatically and from what I can see it's just the icon next to their name that shows as off.. but you can still hear that person. |
